Although new to the scene, his familiarity to the industry should not be doubted nor faulted. Today ‘The Alexsander’ adds to this by delivering a a perplexing mix that accumulates to his mysterious nature.
A self proclaimed tech geek, analog professor and vinyl collector, the artist has caused quite the stir and impression in the techno industry. His debut track Output was edited by Dutch superstar Sander Van Doorn, later the same year a collaboration with CamelPhat and releasing three singles marking his unorthodox techno oriented sound.
In the past 2 years, The Alexsander has received widespread support by techno and
house legends including Adam Beyer, Booka Shade, Groove Armada, Joris Voorn to Joseph Capriati, Danny Tenaglia, Marco Carola and Jamie Jones, just to name a few.
Later the same year a collaboration with grammy nominated CamelPhat “The Switch” was featured on UK based festival Creamfields promotion video. A year later, The Alexsanders single “Tales” was the main intro song to Ultra Music Festival worldwide video for the underground Resistance stage.
With heavy support of all his releases by Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 show, The Alexsander rise has been fast.
His sound plays on a combination of dark, mysterious, cinematic melancholy elements
from pads, arpeggiators to bass lines, a clear red thread that goes throughout his
versus music productions.
