As of 2006 Scane has dropped 3 solo mixtapes, 2 group albums with the Crane Crushers, and over 50 collaborations with other independent hiphop artist. In 2012 Scane and the Crane Crushers were nominated and awarded rap group of the year by the black music awards held in Las Vegas, NV. Scane got his nickname from high school friends who called him “Too Scan”. He Eventually he removed ‘Too’ and added an ‘e’ to Scan make his new handle “Scane”. With music influence’s Like Snoop, Jay Z, 2pac, Roger Troutman, and Lil Wayne; Scane’s music is a combination of old-soul music mixed with new sounds and rhythmic hooks.

Since his 2004 residency in Las Vegas, Scane has developed a great relationship with the city he now calls home. Not only is he an artist, but also a go-to engineer for local musicians inside his home-based studio on the East side of Las Vegas.

William Ray Norwood Jr. (born January 17, 1981), known professionally as Ray J, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, television personality, actor, and entrepreneur.

Born in McComb, Mississippi and raised in Carson, California, he is the younger brother of recording artist and actress Brandy Norwood and the first cousin of rapper Snoop Dogg.[2] In January 2017, he competed in the nineteenth season of the UK reality television programme Celebrity Big Brother.
