Where are you from?
I´m originally from Kyoto (Japan) but I´m currently based in Oslo (Norway).
Describe your sound:
"East meets west in dreamy electronica". A sort of fun cocktail experiment without any fixed rules. A lot herbs added to three main ingredients like "house", "jazz" and "japanese traditional". The result tends to be something avant-garde and experimental.
Tell us about your latest track:
"Motions" is an EDM-based track from my debut EP "Ambience" (Abòn Records 2005). After performing as a live-electronics artist over 10 years, I´ve also started to perform as a DJ since 2016. I wanted to give my old track a new life through new perspectives. I´ve taken on the new additional role as producer and audio engineer – which has been a thrilling ride for me during the whole process .
Who inspires you?
Ryuichi Sakamoto and The Beatles do have special places in my heart. Though, many people inspire me in various ways, through daily encounters online and offline.
Where do you see your career in 5 years?
Hopefully - I still keep writing the music as I like. Also I´m a better songwriter, producer and audio engineer in 5 years.
Where can we check out your sounds?
I would suggest http://Soundcloud.com/siennaweb for streaming.
