Where are you from?
I'm from Baton Rouge Louisiana
Describe your sound:
I've been rapping for a couple of years now and I think I have developed a couple different styles that I like to play around with. I've got some tracks that are more modern hip hop but I definitely like making old school rap more than anything else.
Tell us about your latest track:
My latest track is called "Be Yourself" and its basically about the pressures that we face every day in America. With the government in the spotlight and the media in a frenzy it can be hard to write bars that have real meaning to a broad audience. I let out some stress on this beat and it was a blast to write.
Who inspires you?
My biggest inspiration is without a doubt Lil Wayne. My parents are both from New Orleans and we listened to Weezy more than anything else by far. I really enjoyed the carter three growing up and the album showed me that you can make club music that has people up and dancing and still write "conscious" verses that contain strong emotion.
Where do you see your career in 5 years?
Starting this year I am planning on dropping an album every year along with some mixtapes of stuff that is more relaxed. I personally think I have a lot that I could improve on and Im going to slave in the booth until I have an album that I can really look back on and be proud of.
Where can we check out your sounds?
The best place to check me out for the time being is my Soundcloud
Tell us something about yourself that the people need to know.
At the moment I'm working on a mixtape that should be completed around the end of May. An upcoming project that is more exciting is an album that I am about to start working on with a good friend of mine. I like a lot of the beats he has been showing me and I'm looking forward to making some bangers together. The album is called "Blunt Raps" and it will drop in December.
"Amazing work. I will be back to build with you.
Much appreciated exposure" @StLukeTheKING
