Where are you from?
Born in Newcastle, but I now live in the Scottish Borders. I can however translate Geordie if required to.
Describe your sound:
The new EDM album "A world unknown" is a powerfully addictive mix of upbeat catchy house music, stunning male and female vocals, crisp melodic synths and powerful drums - like David Guetta mixed with Chase & Status and Nero. Earlier albums "Radio Misophonia" and "Bring it like fire" combine pounding nu metal, rap core, rocktronica and big beat. Albums "Old skool, Nu klass" and "Too'king funky" feature wickedly retro funky breakbeat rap and house.
Tell us about your latest project:
The title track from the new EDM album "A world unknown" starts with gentle melodic pads and a distinctive male vocal. The track quickly builds to a chorus of powerful half-tempo drums, hypnotic synth stabs and an awesome male vocal.
Who inspires you?
First inspiration: my Dad, he taught himself to play pretty much every instrument under the sun. Second: my son, he's going to be a very talented musician. When it comes to bands and artists, Big Country and Nik Kershaw (still got the albums on tape). Later in life, The Beastie Boys, The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, BT and Leftfield.
Where do you see your career in 5 years?
I just want to keep writing, producing and publishing!
