Where are you from?
I’m from Vacherie, Louisiana, a small town just outside of New Orleans.
Tell us about your sound:
I think my sound is somewhat unique, something that has some substance to it, something you can feel. Maybe a little moody and dreamy, but also personal, like music should be.
We love the new track, let the people know the concept behind it?
“Life Is Changing” is basically about how life is constantly moving and never really stops for anything. Beware of your choices and decisions. A kind of “enjoy the moment” kind of thing also. Relish what you have and hold it close to you because tomorrow’s not promised for anything. I shot the video myself on my IPhone. How crazy is that? Down here in South Louisiana, the views are breathtaking, so it was fairly easy to put together a nice final product because of what I had to work with.
Who inspires you?
I get inspiration from discovering new artists, new styles, things that are kind of outside the realm of “normal” or “mainstream”. But I’m most inspired by a sunset on the Mississippi River, a Cajun moon in the night sky. Living in the country, beauty surrounds you, it’s everywhere, so it’s hard to not be moved by something along the way.
I just enjoy making music and being able to share what I create with people. It’s kind of like a therapy-type thing for me. I’m glad that people enjoy it and get something out of it.
Where can we check out your sounds:
